Rock the Vote is a political movement that started with Madonna in 1990. She rapped to the tune of her hit song ‘Vogue’ about Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln switching up the lyrics to her popular melody.
The first PSA for Rock the Vote was to urge young people to participate in the political process. The mission was for organizations to get behind this movement and make sure every voice was heard. A voter registration drive will take place over the next three days in Paducah, KY. for the November 2020 presidential election.
